It wasn't suppose to turn out this way!06/11/00 I will write about what caused this to happen and the damage occurred as the weeks goes on. So be sure to stop back for updated information and pictures. What happened is that the front tire got over stuffed. The inside lip of the fender where the fender mounts to the body got the tire tread stuck in it. I was trying to turn, heard the power steering pump start to whine, and that was that! Tipped right over on our side! No one was hurt. The Cow got little damage. The Garvin Industries Wilderness Roof Rack got bent, and I've contacted them about getting replacement parts for the rack. Since they are in town, I can zip over there and they will help me out with it. If you are planning on getting yourself a rack, I suggest the Garvin. The hard top got shifted over about a half inch. There are cracks in it. We removed it and going to be repairing it. To Solve the problem of the tires getting over stuffed, I've added a 1" body lift. Please click on the small pictures to view full size.
Here's an update:Installing the side rack section, $45.00. Installed 1" body lift, $69.00. The drivers side door is a little bent causing the window to just close, but not up tight. The driver side rear body section has a slight bend in it, doesn't seem to be anything to worry about. Installed Black Diamond Steering Stabilizer, $40.00.
